The Academy of Golf offers you the opportunity to improve your game  at one of the finest golf facilities in the world.  At the Salmon Arm Golf Club we focus our programs on you, the individual golfer, no matter what your ability. From the moment you enter the clubhouse, our team of professionals is eager to help.

The philosophy of the Academy of Golf is that golf is meant to be fun.  Our team of C.P.G.A Professionals will apply a straight forward teaching style that will show you how to properly utilize golf’s key fundamentals and a positive mental approach in order to improve your game.

With the Academy of Golf’s philosophy in mind, our team will:

• Help you understand all aspects of the golf swing and how each of these areas affects your ability to achieve longer, straighter golf shots. 
• Each student will have the opportunity to have their swing analyzed using our Video swing software.
• Help you develop a positive mental approach.
• Understand the importance of properly fit golf equipment.  Using the latest technologies, our team will offer you a full equipment analysis.
• Develop short game feel by using proper mechanics and a consistent mental approach to all of your shots around the green.

Practice Facilities

Your learning experience will be enhanced by the exceptional practice facilities we have available to you during your time with us.  We offer a double ended, full length practice range with grass tees, giving you the most realistic practice session possible.  You will also enjoy a private practice green for putting and chipping along with a large sand bunker.  All Academy of Golf participants will receive unlimited practice balls for the entirety of your camp, so that you may devote as much time as you like into your game. 

Programs

We offer a large variety of camps and lesson packages to fit your needs. You can choose from 2, 3, or 4 day camps.  We also offer 1 and 2 day ladies only as well as a corporate camp that is a great retreat for your next staff outing.  If camps do not fit your needs, choose from one of our season long coaching programs that offers you individual instruction with one of our expert professional staff.
